The team's collective expertise is a major highlight, with board-certified specialists who have undergone rigorous additional training. The story of Ziti, a French bulldog who suddenly lost the use of his back legs, perfectly illustrates this. After his regular vet couldn't help, the NorthStar team "recognized it was urgent" and Dr. Anne Chauvet performed a successful MRI and surgery at nearly 11 p.m. Her personal calls with updates and compassionate demeanor, including a comment that she "loves hugs and happy faces," left an indelible mark on Ziti's owners, who called her the "most compassionate, dedicated, and skilled medical professional" they had ever met. The hospital’s commitment to patient comfort is also a standout feature, with separate isolation wards for infectious diseases and state-of-the-art intensive care units. Furthermore, the hospital's dedication to sustainability and its community involvement are important features that demonstrate a holistic commitment to the well-being of both animals and people.

August 02 · Annie Are YouOkay (pieceofthepeace)Our Frenchie, Ziti, suddenly lost the use of his back legs. Our regular vet couldn’t see him for a week and didn’t even suggest an emergency visit, but we knew he needed help. Maple Shade NorthStar saw us right away, recognized it was urgent, and sent us to Dr. Anne Chauvet in Robbinsville that same night.Within hours, Dr. Chauvet had performed an MRI and successful surgery—at nearly 11 p.m.! She personally called us with updates, explained everything clearly, and even told us not to leave the next day without seeing her because she “loves hugs and happy faces.”I’ve had many pets and I also have children and I can honestly say Dr. Chauvet is the most compassionate, dedicated, and skilled medical professional I have ever met—human or animal. She and the staff at NorthStar Robbinsville treated Ziti like her own, and because of them, our boy is home, healing, and happy.Thank you, Dr. Chauvet and the entire NorthStar team, for saving our boy and giving him the best care imaginable. We are forever grateful!
August 15 · Nicole RossThe NorthStar Hospital is very good at its services. I have taken my dog there multiple times and was very satisfied with their services. Yesterday I had to take my dog at 3am to have her euthanized and they were very compassionate and walked me thru my options. Im so happy they are open 24 hours a day. Thank you very much NorthStar.
September 13 · Ketan PatelMy handsome Doxy Scooter suffers with IVDD . I was recommended to see Dr Danel by a very good friend and colleague of mine.My dog had lost the ability to use his back legs almost overnight with no episode of injury whatsoever. We quickly brought him to Northstar and Dr Danel presented us with a very professionally devised treatment plan and through crate rest and medication protocol , he was back to walking in three weeks . Now fast forward 8 months later, unfortunately my little one suffered again with a neck condition of IVDD and we returned to , once again , be blessed with the healing advise and expertise of Dr Danel .Scooter is back up and walking again four weeks later .Thank you to the compassionate staff and Dr Danel for helping us through a very difficult time .SincerelyShari, Jared , and Scooter
September 05 · Shari CollinsWe saw Dr. Grootenboer who was phenomenal!! He was so informative on the options we had for our rat and did his best to make our visit affordable. He did a great job with trimming our rats teeth, they look amazing and she is already chewing on toys again (she hasn’t done that in a while🥲) I am so happy with the care she received, we will definitely be back!
