★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Awesome place! The staff are very friendly and attentive. I have brought 3 cats to get spayed here (two of my cats at 1 1/2 years old, one cat at 6 months old) and every single experience has been incredibly smooth. One of my girls had been in heat on the day of the appointment (not ideal) yet they did not have an issue with it and she healed up perfectly after a week! Initially, I was pretty nervous (as most pet owners are) when bringing in my babies for their surgeries, but the staff made sure to answer any questions that I had, which gave me peace of mind that my kitties are in good hands. The place can get pretty busy, so expect to wait a while when picking up your pet, they take in so many pets. The first time I came here, when I brought my first two cats, I waited about an hour (give or take) when picking them up, but there were soooo many people picking up pets that day so it was very understandable. The second time when I brought my younger cat, the wait time was maybe 20 minutes. They try to be as quick as they can be, while making sure that you go home with all of the information that you need. They take the time to give a run-down on how to attend to your kitty(s) when you bring them home. The wait is worth it when considering the affordable cost, as well as the helpful and informative staff.
June 24 · ElyxiiaOur experience with Ontario Spay and Neuter was very troubling, and I believe there are serious issues that need to be addressed. At our dog’s first spay appointment, she was given a medication that should never have been administered and could have put her life at risk. Because of this mistake, the surgery had to be canceled, and we were forced to reschedule. Errors of this nature are extremely concerning in a veterinary setting. Both appointments were also marked by very poor organization. Each time we were left waiting for hours with little to no communication, and the only explanation offered was that “unfortunately it’s out of our hands.” For a medical service, this lack of accountability is unacceptable. At the rescheduled appointment, we were told our dog would be ready for pickup at 5:30 p.m. We arrived early to be prompt, but still waited another two hours before she was released. This type of delay, without proper updates, adds unnecessary stress to both pets and owners.Veterinary care requires precision, professionalism, and reliability. Based on our experience, Ontario Spay and Neuter fell short in all of these areas. I strongly urge them to review their procedures and improve both their medical protocols and communication practices.Because of the serious medication error, the repeated disorganization, and the lack of accountability throughout, I can only give this clinic 1 star.
August 16 · Moises HernandezReally easy to book an appointment. We had our cat spayed and they have a very easy to understand check in and discharge process. I liked the appt reminder email, good prices, good communication and follow-up, and really sweet staff. Our kitty was so well cared for, in good hands there… she never even seemed sore at all and healed right up.
July 19 · Summer SmileThe staff here is so wonderful, caring, and competent! My daughter and I brought our two young male cats in to be neutered and the process was efficient and the surgeries and recovery were perfect. Most vets charge at least $600 per cat these days and now require two visits in order to spay or neuter a dog or cat (a pre-op appointment, then you bring them back for the actual spay or neuter). This clinic only requires one visit (the way it has always been done in the past with all of our animals) and the cost was only $225 per cat. I do not feel that care or recovery was compromised in any way. Aftercare instructions are clear and concise and they even followed up with us the week after the surgery to make sure our boys were recovering without incident. I am happy to report that both cats are doing very well and fully recovered. Highly recommend.
September 04 · Dawn AdamsThey took very good care of both my kitties. One was a male. I was a female price wasn’t too bad. They called when my kitty was done to let me know and how they were feeling. Also, what time I could pick them up very organized when I went there I just suggest to have an appointment.
