I took my cat Lexi to the VIP pet care at tractor supply in Berlin, New Jersey. I brought her in on a leash and I was holding her in my arms, she is a 100% leash trained and well behaved she does better on the leash than most of the dogs I ever saw, however they did not like that and said she needs to be in a box. I didn’t know that was their policy if it even is, so one the girls did go get a cardboard box for me to put her in, but basically they put her in the box asked me a couple questions then took her out less than a minute later. The girls held her, then the doctor gave her the shot that she needed. Then they put her back in the box, the doctor didn’t say anything to me at all. Then they had me pay and then I basically left. I have had pets on my life and I have never been to a place that was not friendly and welcoming to me and my pet. I will never go back there again. I only went for the convenience of being close to home, but it’s not worth it I expect people that do that kind of job they actually like pets and people. The price was no cheaper either, but I don’t care about the money. I just want my pet to have the best care possible and it was not there that day. I really find it hard to believe that the girls were not more friendly, but I think because the doctor was mad about her not being in a box that set the tone in the room and that shouldn’t happen either. I waited to write this because I didn’t want to be reactionary however I still find the whole experience disappointing: - David Falo
