Choosing a veterinary hospital is a significant decision, and VCA Lakes Region Veterinary Hospital is worth choosing because of our commitment to comprehensive and compassionate care. We strive to provide a positive experience for every pet and owner. A client's positive review highlights this commitment, stating, "My cat Daylee and I were in today as she was having an anal gland issue. They were quick to assess the problem...both Dylan and the Vet Assistant were very slow and calm with Daylee, and made this a great experience." This personal touch and calm demeanor are qualities we pride ourselves on. However, we understand that veterinary experiences can be emotionally charged, and some outcomes may not meet expectations. One customer shared a difficult experience, stating, "Horrible experience getting my dog back from this place... My dog was never the same with other vets after picking him up." This feedback, while rare, is taken seriously, as we continuously work to improve our services and communication. The vast majority of our clients trust us with their pets' health because of our comprehensive offerings, including wellness care, specialized treatments, and the added convenience of boarding and grooming. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Thank you SO MUCH to Dr. Dylan Spitzer at Laconia VCA. My cat Daylee and I were in today as she was having an anal gland issue. They were quick to assess the problem, and had a fast solution to help her. I get nervous taking my baby to places, not knowing how she will do around strangers, but both Dylan and the Vet Assistant were very slow and calm with Daylee, and made this a great experience. She should be back to her box loving self in no time! Thanks again VCA Laconia!
May 29 · Kaylee ArizmendiHorrible experience getting my dog back from this place leaving him for two nights and getting his shots so I can work. I did not get my dog back the same. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!! May not be the case for everyone but if you don’t care about the risk then feel freeMy dog was never the same with other vets after picking him up.DO NOT! Please find a better place for your loved pet
February 09 · BeezleOi69 BeezleyDr John Guest is the best veterinarian I have ever met. In this house, him and his wife Dr Katie Guest walk on water. They have both saved our dog’s lives. Dr Soucy is our next go to and we gave had nice experiences with Dr Woodman. Lisa, the practice Manager, is phenomenal. Lisa and the Guests have been there my entire 25 years as a client. Katie, the Supervisor, will always make time to assist. Excellent Service. The staff are pleasant and friendly. One of the vet techs, Jen, has been with us for as long as we can remember. She is amazing!
April 07 · Rosa MichaudThey were exceptional with the care of my late beloved Jackie boy. I am forever greatful and would recommend for all your pet needs ❤🎩🏅
August 05 · Eric Taylor(This happened on April 22, 2022) The staff was incredibly caring and did their absolute best to guide me through the best plan of action. I soon realized there was nothing that could be done and Petey's quality of life would not be improving. It was their compassion, understanding, and expertise that helped me in making such a difficult decision, but I know it was the right one for Petey. My heart is broken, of course. Petey was a very special cat, a rarity, which is why even staff shed tears alongside me and my husband. It was comforting to know how much this team truly loved and cared for Petey. I miss him terribly; his gentlemanly ways, his big ol' mug of a head, his deformed ears and unusual thumbs. He chose me to be his person and the bond was strong. He let me know when he was ready, looking out for me to the end and even went out purring. It's just not the same around here without him, but I am grateful for all that the doctors and staff did for us.
