★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This clinic is the worst place I have ever taken a pet. The way my animal was treated here was disturbing, careless, and inhumane. Instead of showing compassion or professionalism, the staff handled my pet roughly and made me feel like their life didn’t matter. I left traumatized by what I saw and completely heartbroken at how little care they showed.I would never recommend this place to anyone who loves their animals. If you care about your pet’s safety and well-being, please go elsewhere. There are far better veterinarians who actually value animal lives and treat them with kindness.
August 21 · Monica LeeI've been coming to Western Animal Hospital for over 4 years, but after my recent experience, I can confidently say I will not be returning. When I called the clinic with a concern, the front desk staff member Marissa hung up on me 10 times. When I finally addressed her behavior in person, she laughed at me, raised her voice, and publicly told me I was "not like a customer" in front of several other people in the waiting room. I was shocked, humiliated, and honestly heartbroken -- especially from a place I had trusted with my pets for years.Regardless of how busy a clinic may be, this level of disrespect and unprofessionalism is unacceptable. I've never been treated so poorly while simply trying to advocate for my pet.The veterinarians may be competent, but no one should have to deal with a front desk person who acts this way toward loyal clients. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because this kind of behavior drives good clients away. And Modern Animal Hospital charges $200 membership with unlimited free exams. You guys are not in the right mindset for success. Good luck at your new location. No one will come back!
June 30 · susan leeI took my dog to this clinic in hopes of receiving X-rays for my dog since I had confirmed over the phone that they allow those to be taken. They set me for an appointment, to which we showed up on time.I took my dog in to the clinic and we were taken into a room. My dog is a very anxious dog, and he is a pitbull, but very very friendly. The vet came in and acted as if she could not touch my dog. She asked me to "put him in a headlock" since she did not want to touch him.I explained that he was very friendly, but of course, I understood her concerns so took her up on the offer to place a muzzle on him. I placed the muzzle on him and she acted as if she still could not touch him. She called in another person, a man, who then took my dog from me, and then brought him back within 4 minutes. They then left us in the room, and she was not aware that the walls are so thin that I can hear her nagging to the guy who had walked in about my dog. It is very unprofessional for a vet to be so unkind and to go and talk bad about her clients. She came back into the room, and told me to head to the front desk. I was confused as to why since my dog was not seen, not looked at, nor did he have the scheduled X-rays taken. I asked her what was wrong and she proceeded to tell me that the receptionist would help me.I went to the front and the receptionist was offering other locations for me to take my dog. I was so confused as to why I was being referred and not serviced since they didn't even look at my dog, who in the end is very sick.I asked the receptionist why I was being referred and she stated "I don't know" and was looking at the other receptionists for help. I asked her to please tell me why the Dr. could not check my dog and explained that it is very unprofessional for them to talk bad about their patients behind the walls. They were left dumbfounded. Didn't even know what to say.I demanded that the vet comes out and explain to me what was wrong and why I was being referred. The receptionist stated that the vet would not come out to explain, and instead explained that the vet saw my dog had a mass growing in his stomach. WHY COULD SHE NOT TELL ME HERSELF.It wasn't until I DEMANDED to speak to the vet that I was told by the receptionist, not even the vet, what was wrong with my dog. They also told me they weren't qualified to do what was asked, in this case X-rays, but didn't make sense since they confirmed they could do it.Another thing was when we got home, my dog was bleeding from his behind, not sure what they did to him but DO NOT take your pets here. The vet is unprofessional and will talk bad about you and your pet.I was finally able to get help with another vet in the area, who was so kind and happily looked at my dog and provided everything I needed.
May 21 · LilyAmazing vet! I brought my parent’s dog in on Saturday for an emergency pyometra surgery after calling 5 different places recommended by Access. They were the only ones able to help same day and within an hour after calling AND at a third of the price that Access hospital quoted me. The entire staff was also so friendly and very clear about instructions. Clean environment as well :)
May 26 · DThey are really good there and I had to put my service dog down there she had liver problems and was clearly in pain. She was pooping blood at the end so I knew it was time to put her down. It was one of the hardest and saddest thing I've ever had to do. I was really close to her and she was really close to me. I actually could read her thoughts it was a weird thing but I knew exactly what she wanted when she would look at me. I have never been that close to an animal before it was as bad as loosing my mother to cancer. It felt like the same feeling because I watched my mom and my dog go from looking right to withered down to nothing. It was awful. I'm still grieving my dog. I've got another dog and I try to put my energy into her. She is going to be trained to be my new service dog 🐕🦺. And so far she is doing really well. She loves to get in the car and go. Now if she sees me going to the door she is right behind me ready to go. Lol. Overall the animal hospital is a very good place to take your pets. It's a little expensive but great service.
