★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My first visit to Vermont Pet Hospital on 06/16/2025 was a deeply moving experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with plenty of parking and a spacious, welcoming lounge staffed by three kind and attentive front desk team members. The consultation rooms were clean, private, and comfortable, providing a sense of calm during a difficult time.I brought my beloved 18-year-old feline in for euthanasia after a long, challenging battle with illness. I was overwhelmed with sadness, but right from the start, the staff made me feel genuinely cared for and supported. I had a one-on-one consultation with the compassionate Dr. Lee, whose knowledgeable and thoughtful answers to all my questions eased my worries and helped me feel more at peace. And the cost was reasonable. The entire process was handled with the utmost respect, kindness, and sensitivity. During a particularly emotional moment, one of the staff came in and offered me a comforting hug, which I deeply appreciated. At the end of the visit, Dr. Lee bowed to me—a rare and profound gesture of respect that touched me deeply, and I reciprocated with gratitude.Though saying goodbye to my cherished companion was heartbreaking, Dr. Lee and his staff made a difficult time more bearable with their genuine compassion and professionalism. I am sincerely grateful for their heartfelt care and support.Thank you, Dr. Lee and team, for your extraordinary service and kindness during such a tender moment in my life.
June 17 · Paul SI’ve been bringing my dog to Vermont Animal Hospital and have always felt comfortable here—until recently. On Thursday, I had a very frustrating and upsetting experience with the Korean front desk staff, who has consistently been rude and unhelpful. I’ve witnessed this behavior not only toward me but also toward other clients. That day, I simply asked if I could speak with the doctor. Instead of trying to assist, the receptionist closed the door, pretended to talk to the doctor, and came back saying he was unavailable—offering no alternative or solution. I left the clinic and called shortly afterward to try again. She told me the doctor was with a patient and abruptly hung up on me.When I called again, the doctor himself answered. I explained what had happened and expressed how uncomfortable the receptionist’s attitude His response shocked me:“Okay, just go to another clinic. Scream at me.”I was speechless. There was no apology, no attempt to understand my concern—justAfter all feel so dismissed and disrespected. The truth is, this clinic care more about money than about the animals or the people who love them. reconsiders how they treat their clients—because compassion should always come first in animal care.
August 03 · LoveIf you have an emergency and need to act quickly to save your pet, stay away from this place. My dog had eaten rice in the plastic and sugar on the 24th, which was what I believed to be the first thing, and then she started vomiting the next day. I took her to my veterinarian first, and the problem persisted, so I started from there. He recommended an x-ray and a blood test. He said everything was normal and that it was just gas. He prescribed a medicine that stopped the vomiting and diarrhea. However, my dog was constipated and did not have diarrhea, and the plan of action should have been to remove what she had ingested and not something to contain the feces. Well, trusting the doctor, who I thought was competent, I took my dog home and treated her as recommended, but she continued to be constipated, until one morning she simply defecated only blood from her anus, a significant amount. So I ran to them, before they even opened. He left there saying that he was going to do an endoscopy, and that I should pick her up at 4 pm. I spent the whole day waiting for some news and nothing. But I thought everything was fine. However, when I went to pick up my dog, he said he couldn't do the endoscopy because it was blocked and that I had said she was spayed, but that it didn't seem like she had been spayed, and that was why he couldn't insert the tube, with those exact words. I immediately questioned him: what did the stomach have to do with my dog's uterus???? He said it was confusing and couldn't explain it to me. From then on, with this nonsensical argument, I was afraid he would open my dog up to operate. The first time he said it was gas, which made her situation worse, and the second time he gave this nonsensical justification!!! At that point, my daughter was wasting her time, and I took her home in a worse state than I had left her. I spent the last night in terror with my daughter. The vomiting returned, the defecation was only blood, and she started to faint. Something very wrong happened there. The next morning, on the way to another hospital, my daughter passed away… I believed and trusted this incompetent hospital twice. They don’t have the level of knowledge to deal with emergencies. This couldn’t even be called a hospital. My daughter spent 5 days in agony in pain, and her situation was made worse by a wrong diagnosis and medical negligence.
