Williston Park Animal Hospital - Rehab & Acupuncture provides a truly extensive list of services, covering everything from routine check-ups to highly specialized treatments. Their holistic approach is evident in the blend of traditional and alternative therapies available. Here is a look at some of the key services you can expect:

They also offer crucial surgical services, including soft tissue surgery, spays & neuters, and mass removal.
- Rehabilitative Services: This is a major highlight of the practice. They offer a range of physical therapy and rehabilitation options designed to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance the quality of life for pets with conditions like hip dysplasia or those recovering from injury.
- Canine Physical Therapy: A key aspect of their rehabilitative offerings. This includes targeted exercises and treatments to help dogs regain strength, improve their range of motion, and manage chronic pain.

This is especially beneficial for animals with arthritis, hip dysplasia, or those recovering from orthopedic surgery.
- Acupuncture and Herbal Therapy: Embracing a holistic philosophy, the hospital offers veterinary acupuncture, a traditional Chinese medicine practice that can help with pain management and a variety of other conditions. This is often combined with herbal medicine to create a comprehensive, natural treatment plan.
- Class IV Laser Therapy: A non-invasive treatment that uses light energy to stimulate cell regeneration, reduce inflammation, and accelerate healing in pets with chronic pain or injuries.
- Holistic and Integrative Medicine: The team uses an integrative approach, combining traditional veterinary medicine with holistic therapies like essential oil therapy, food therapy, and natural flea control to provide well-rounded care.
- Specialized Diagnostic Services: This includes advanced procedures like Penn Hip and OFA Hip screenings to detect hip dysplasia early, as well as DNA testing, ultrasound, and echocardiograms for a comprehensive view of your pet’s health.
- Emergency and Hospice Care: The hospital also provides critical care and urgent care for emergencies, as well as compassionate hospice care and cremation services for pets at the end of their lives.
What truly sets Williston Park Animal Hospital apart is its unique combination of features that prioritize both the pet’s well-being and the owner’s peace of mind.
- Holistic and Integrative Approach: The practice’s philosophy of blending traditional veterinary medicine with alternative therapies is a significant highlight. For many pet owners, this offers a more natural and less invasive path to wellness. The use of services like veterinary acupuncture, herbal therapy, and a focus on natural healing sets them apart.
- Expertise in Physical Therapy: Their specialized focus on physical therapy, including hydrotherapy training, is a major draw. For dogs with mobility issues, this is a game-changer. This specialized skill can lead to real, tangible improvements in a pet's quality of life.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My favorite place to go for my dog Achilles. Dr. Hardoon and the staff have gone above and beyond with my Doberman anytime I ever needed them- especially, during some scary emergencies! I wouldn’t / don’t trust anyone but Williston Park Animal Hospital. The holistic approach is the only way for me personally. I’m forever grateful to this fantastic veterinarian practice and all of its employees.
August 01 · B VMy dog, Doug, was diagnosed with hip dysplasia, and after he became very sick from medication I knew I needed an alternative treatment to manage his condition. Dr. Hardoon and the staff were patient, compassionate, and honest about what PT could realistically achieve. I worked with Bibi and Barbara, who were both wonderful working with Doug, and keeping him engaged in his exercises—even when his food motivation got the best of him.I never felt pressured or like I was being sold something; instead, I was given clear, thoughtful guidance to make the best choices for Doug’s care. PT has made a real difference—he’s lost weight, built muscle, and improved his range of motion, all of which will aid in protecting him from future injury. I highly recommend the team at Williston Park Animal Hospital and their physical therapy services.
August 27 · Stefani KMy cat Giovanna has a rare skin disease and I consulted with Dr. Haroon. My beautiful girl has been seen by fantastic Vets but I wanted to include Dr. Haroon in her care for holistic advice. I cannot emphasize how grateful I am for the attention my Giovanna received. She was able to give me hope that the tumor can be shrunk and her life can be extended more comfortably. Dr. Haroon was very patient listening to my concerns and suggestions. She was knowledgeable about the treatments and I value her opinion. I am happy to have her on Giovanna’s care team. I would give 10 stars if I could.
April 19 · GinaMy first time at this animal hospital and it was a great experience. I love the holistic approach and how gentle and caring the nurse and doctor were with my Sammy. They gave him lots of snacks to keep him happy while they drew blood and played very relaxing music that was very calming. I highly recommend this animal hospital
October 14 · Lexi COur family had to make the very difficult decision to put our cat. Charlie, to sleep. Dr. Hardoon, Elissa, and the staff are extremely compassionate, professional, and they truly seek the best care for all fur babies. A thoughtful holistic approach added some more time to Charlie before we had to say goodbye. I want to thank the Doctor and the wonderful staff for their work, they definitely love what they do, and it shows in the approach they take in the individual care for every baby that comes through. Charlie has crossed the rainbow bridge but was guided by the skillful and loving hands at Williston Park Animal Hospital.
