Fort Wagg Pet Store Reviews
My husband and I have been to a lot of pet stores in our lifetime. Even more recently due to starting three different fish tanks. On May 6th we made a trip from Fayetteville to Fort Wagg and were so impressed with every part of our visit. The staff was amazing, tofu actually went above and beyond to guide us in the right direction towards fish for our shrimp tank, plants for our new 15 gallon set up and medication for any future issues. The tanks here are so clean. Not a single dead fish, the reptiles look absolutely healthy and well-fed.The store layout is very quaint and beautiful. We picked up three autos and six plants and a bag of gravel and a bag of pebbles. Their selection of Driftwood was absolutely beautiful and we got three pieces of that .The prices were unbelievable, we've been driving to Raleigh to get our fish supplies. We now have a new local place to call home.Thank you so much to everyone at Fort Wagg, for providing these amazing products and wonderful service. The Lee's
May 07 · Catherine LeeEasy to find and easy to park. I mainly come for the fish supplies. Dean is really nice and will help you out. Tanks are very clean and so is the store. Stop in and check them out. I would definitely recommend this store.
September 06 · MACMy husband wanted to buy me a parakeet. We went to this pet store to find out they would not honor the 27.99 price. The older clerk immediately got an attitude. We are handicapped seniors. We were polite. We ask the price and was spoken harshly to! She called the supposide owner who told her they are 35.99 and thats what they have been for 3 yrs! Town & Country in Sanford is recommended for any pet needs and supplies. I guess we could have put up a fuss but they will not be in business long with that attitude. All the positive reviews must be from people who don't challenge them for the advertising! The clerk claimed that bc it was "googled" that Google put in the wrong price! Wow!
May 03 · Baconator321 Team321I had special Ordered some micro worms and was told 15bucks. I was very happy and excited for them to come in. I did not know that they would get them in and repackage them into those tiny little clear ketchup containers with a lid and tape over it. No holes, Dirt was all I saw. When I asked the guy if they repackage them when they arrive he said yes. So, unfortunately I took an hour ride for nothing. Every other place I have Ordered from gives me the container they arrive in, with description and how many there are. I was always taught to know what you're buying. In this case, 2 tiny ketchup containers with no way of knowing how many micro worms are in each just didn't sit right.
