White Doves of Ohio Introduce
For residents of Ohio looking to add a profoundly symbolic and beautiful element to a special event, White Doves of Ohio offers a unique and memorable service. Located in Cuyahoga Falls, this business is not a traditional pet store in the sense of selling pet supplies. Instead, it is a specialized service that provides professional white dove releases for a variety of occasions, including funerals, memorials, weddings, and other celebrations. The business operates as a small, dedicated team committed to providing a peaceful and elegant touch to life’s most significant moments.
The act of releasing a white dove has long been a powerful symbol of peace, love, and new beginnings. For those in Northeast Ohio, White Doves of Ohio offers a way to incorporate this timeless tradition into their events. The company prides itself on breeding and training its beautiful white Belgian Racing Pigeons, ensuring that each bird is healthy, well-cared for, and, most importantly, trained to return to its home loft safely after the release. This expertise and focus on the welfare of the birds is a core component of their service, distinguishing them as a professional and ethical choice for anyone seeking a dove release.
As a small business, White Doves of Ohio provides a personalized touch that is often lost with larger, more commercial operations. They understand the emotional significance of the events they are a part of and strive to handle each request with the utmost care and respect. This personal approach is what makes them a cherished local resource. They provide not just a service, but a meaningful experience that can bring comfort and beauty to a difficult day or add a sense of wonder and elegance to a joyful one.
White Doves of Ohio is based out of 1214 Munroe Falls Ave, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, USA. While the physical address is where their birds are cared for, their service is mobile, bringing the dove release directly to your event location. This means they are accessible to customers across a wide area in Northeast Ohio, including Akron, Cleveland, and other surrounding communities. The nature of their business model eliminates the need for customers to travel, as the service comes to them.
Accessibility is a key part of their service. The business is prepared to travel to your chosen venue, whether it is a graveside, a church, or an outdoor wedding site. Their physical location in Cuyahoga Falls is wheelchair accessible, with a wheelchair-accessible entrance and parking lot, which speaks to their commitment to inclusivity and ease of access for anyone who may need to visit for consultation or other business matters. However, for a service that is delivered to the customer's site, the primary accessibility benefit is the convenience of having the service brought to you. This is a significant advantage for those planning a stressful event like a funeral, as it removes one more logistical concern. The company serves a wide radius from their location, making them a viable option for many across the region.

- Dove Releases for Funerals and Memorials: The release of a single dove or a flock of doves is a powerful way to honor a loved one who has passed. It symbolizes the freeing of the spirit and a peaceful journey. As noted by a customer, the service can include a beautiful poem to be read at the ceremony, adding an extra layer of meaning.
- Wedding Dove Releases: The release of doves at a wedding ceremony symbolizes love, fidelity, and new beginnings for the couple. It creates a visually stunning and memorable moment for the couple and their guests.
- Special Event Releases: Beyond funerals and weddings, White Doves of Ohio also offers releases for other special events, such as graduations, anniversaries, and community celebrations.
- Ethical Breeding and Training: The business’s core service is built on the foundation of raising and training their birds to be strong, healthy, and capable of returning home after a release. This ethical approach ensures the safety and well-being of the animals.
Several features and highlights make White Doves of Ohio a notable choice for this unique service.

For those in Ohio considering a dove release, White Doves of Ohio is worth choosing for several key reasons. The first is their clear specialization and expertise. Unlike a general pet store, this company has dedicated itself to the art and practice of dove releases. Their knowledge of the birds, their training, and the logistical planning for each event is a significant advantage. This professional handling ensures that the release is not only beautiful but also humane and safe for the animals.
The customer reviews, while mixed, offer a clear picture of their service. A positive experience with a graveside ceremony highlights the professionalism and thoughtful touches, like the inclusion of a poem, which make a profound difference during a difficult time. This shows their ability to deliver a compassionate and beautiful service when it matters most. However, a negative review also underscores the importance of clear communication and confirmation when booking a service, especially for time-sensitive events like a funeral. This information serves as a useful reminder for future customers to confirm all details well in advance to ensure a smooth process.
Overall, choosing White Doves of Ohio means opting for a unique, small business service that can add a symbolic and unforgettable element to a special occasion. Their commitment to the welfare of their birds and their focus on providing a meaningful experience are the primary reasons they are a valuable local resource. For a funeral, a wedding, or any other event, the sight of their beautiful white doves ascending into the Ohio sky is a powerful and moving sight that leaves a lasting impression.

White Doves of Ohio Reviews
We had a very positive experience with White Doves of Ohio. They arrived on time and brought six beautiful white doves to be released at my mother's graveside ceremony. They also gave us a lovely poem to be read at the service. A beautiful touch to my mother's burial service.
May 15 · Robyn MoselyMy girlfriend’s mother called two weeks in advance to order 6 doves for her brothers funeral service. Called back to confirm and they refused to do the service even though it’s within the 60 mile radius as they advise on their website. Now we are a week out scrambling to get this figured out. If you’re thinking of going with them I’d find someone else.
May 09 · Dylan OliverWe had doves released at our wedding and it was an amazing experience. The doves were beautiful, and the poem read before the release was so heart warming. The service was amazing. It is definitely an experience we won't forget. Would highly recommend a dove release at your event, it adds a very special touch.
March 28 · Hello thereSpoke to them on behalf of my sister on September 6th. We requested 2 doves to be released at the cemetery for a memorial on September 11th at 1:00 pm .White Doves of Ohio called to confirm time and date. On September 11th at about 10:15am he called to cancel because he said it was storming where he is located. The weather was slight drizzle in Cleveland. I don't understand why he would wait till the last minute to cancel. Maybe he just didn't want to do it ,or had other plans . One would think he would check the forecast days before.I strongly suggest doing business with someone else because this last minute cancellation for a memorial service was highly unprofessional.Update :My sister spoke to the owner and found out they were out of town on the day I booked them. They left someone name Rudy in charge. Rudy is who I booked with. Rudy told the owners that I cancelled on them. Not true Rudy cancelled on me . So beware of Rudy he's unprofessional and a liar .
September 17 · Betty MontanezSo I wanted 12 doves to be released at my wedding. I thought that was too many to come out of one cage so I asked if they can do 2-3 cages. I was under the impression this was okay and they would send me their contract in the mail. A few weeks later and nothing. I called to inquire about my contract and the husband in charge snaps at me saying their not doing it anymore bc I wanted too many cages. No where was that communicated to me, I wouldn’t even have cared to not have the extra cages. They just decided to cancel with no communication and ruined a memorable part of my wedding. No bias the guy was so rude on the phone too- saying things like I have a lot of other customers, I don’t need this- as soon as the phone call started. From the get go, I should have seen this coming. It’s a husband and wife who run this and scream on the phone to each other to get things done. Do not know how to email back or use a computer. Sound like hillbilly’s on the phone tying to pull this off. They are used to doing business at funerals. Do not trust them with your wedding.
