★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1These are my vets for both of my cats. They take great care of your pets and are super friendly and helpful with any questions you may have about care. Their prices are also very reasonable and I appreciate that they offer care plans that include preventative care for both cats and dogs. The photos are of my cats, the blonde was over-conditioned and had bladder stones, AHOS diagnosed her and got her on a special diet that solved both issues within 1 visit, the Black cat is just a one eyed cutie that I take to AHOS for monthly nail trims since she swipes at me when I try to cut her nails.
November 13 · Mateo EscobarAshley at the front desk got our old cat Ginger an appointment right away. She was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The vet techs were very nice and gentle and friendly with Ginger. Dr. Offutt was very knowledgeable, caring, and let me know of everything she thought or read with regards to Ginger's bloodwork.Thank you and great work to the Animal Hospital of Old Saybrook team!!!
July 10 · GerryAnimal Hospital of Old Saybrook has been caring for our Oreo for over 5 years. Highly recommend. The DVM and all of the associates are wonderful and caring.
April 12 · Debra AnnIts been 4 years and I still can't get over the nightmare I went through at the hands of Doctor Frederich. He had been my vet for over 30 years. My Sweet Boy, Tyson suffered a horrific death.I had Ty at the park when I noticed he was bleeding from his mouth.I raced him to his Vet. Doctor Frederich said that first he was going to sedate him. Then put a scope down his throat. He took him to the back to do all this.Ten minutes later he brought Tyson back out. Ty was in bad distress. I asked why he brought him back out to me.One of the nurses stated that the 25 dollars I had on me wasn't enough.I had come straight from the park.Because I didn't have enough money on me Doctor Frederich refused any treatment.I knelt by him sobbing and begging him to please help my Sweet Boy.He refused while I watched my Boy choke to death. What kind of a person could do such a horrible thing.I still have nightmares about this day.Shame on you Doctor Frederich. You don't deserve to be called a Doctor. What you did was inhumane..
May 17 · Debi DiBenedettoI feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Shrack and his Team of professionals. We moved to the area many years back but continued traveling to our old vet many miles away because she was so incredible with our pets. It was hard to eventually have to move on to someone else. Over the years we’ve visited a handful of Veterinary offices in the area but none made us feel as comfortable or trusting as our old vet. I’m so glad we finally decided to come to Animal Hospital of Old Saybrook. They are always friendly, accommodating and professional, and I feel like they genuinely care about our dogs. Now, I can’t imagine bringing our furry family members anywhere else.
