Cedar Lane Animal Clinic Introduce
For pet owners across New Jersey, our animals are not just companions—they are cherished members of the family. Ensuring their health and happiness is a top priority, and that starts with finding a reliable and compassionate veterinary care provider. In Somerset, Cedar Lane Animal Clinic stands as a dedicated animal hospital with a long-standing reputation for providing high-quality medical attention. This clinic is more than just a place for annual check-ups; it is a full-service facility equipped to handle a wide range of health concerns, from routine preventative care to advanced surgical procedures. The clinic was established in 1975 by Dr. James Bacon and has since built a legacy of trust and care within the community. The team at Cedar Lane Animal Clinic is committed to building a long-term partnership with pet owners, focusing on educating clients and providing personalized care that is tailored to each animal's specific needs. They understand that a pet's well-being is a multifaceted journey that requires attention to everything from nutrition and dental health to specialized treatments for chronic conditions. This article will provide a thorough overview of what makes Cedar Lane Animal Clinic a noteworthy choice for local pet owners, covering its convenient location, extensive list of services, and the key features that define its approach to veterinary medicine.
Cedar Lane Animal Clinic is conveniently located at 1760 Easton Ave #6, Somerset, NJ 08873, USA. Situated in a shopping center at the corner of Cedar Grove Lane and Easton Avenue, the clinic is easy to find and access for residents in Somerset and the surrounding communities. The location is just a short distance from Interstate 287, making it a convenient stop for pet owners traveling from various parts of the region. The clinic has also prioritized accessibility to ensure a stress-free experience for all visitors. It provides a wheelchair-accessible entrance, which provides easy access for individuals with mobility challenges. A wheelchair-accessible parking lot is available, which eliminates the stress of finding a suitable parking spot close to the entrance. Inside, a restroom is available for client comfort and convenience. The clinic operates on a scheduled appointment basis, which helps to minimize wait times and allows the veterinary team to dedicate their full attention to each patient. While they strive to accommodate urgent care needs when possible, it is important to note that their capacity for after-hours emergency care is limited, and for such situations, they may recommend a local 24-hour emergency care facility. This structure is designed to provide the most efficient and focused care for their scheduled patients.

This personalized attention is a major highlight that sets the clinic apart. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Dr Cathleen Albert saved my dogs life! She preformed surgery on her breast cancer. Thank God we caught it in time. Both her and doctor Bacon are very attentive here. They take their time to explain and really care about your pet. Also, my dog healed great from the surgery. She is 12 years old. Thank you!!!
May 30 · Corinne CronheimI took my cat to Dr. Bacon after feeling like my previous vet’s prices were unreasonable. My cat had a swollen lower lip, and what looked like hot spots on his back legs. He gave him a shot which helped greatly. When my cat was having respiratory issues the following week, I brought him back and got some more medicine. The prices at the clinic are very reasonable! I’d say that for the services I’ve recently received, I’ve paid half of what my previous vet would have charged. But I’m not getting half the service! Dr. Bacon always asks me to call back with an update, and he responds promptly to questions or concerns. His staff genuinely cared for my cat and gave me the time and explanations that I needed without feeling rushed. He has been serving the community for 50+ years. I only wish I knew of his clinic sooner! I highly recommend him!
August 21 · Nicole LeMasterCaring, compassionate and responsive. I have used this practice for over 2 decades and would not consider taking my pets elsewhere. Easy to get an appointment when necessary. Doctors and vet techs are wonderful. They have helped me through the simple check-ups to making those tough decisions at end of life for my treasured furry friends.
