★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I can’t say enough good things about City Animal Vet. Dr. Cheung is truly one of a kind—so kind, deeply knowledgeable, and incredibly detail-oriented. You can tell she really loves what she does, and loves animals.I have two senior Shetland Sheepdogs—Rocky and Rosko—who both need a lot of care at this stage of their lives. Rocky recently had a dental procedure and needed a few teeth removed. I was anxious about it, but Dr. Cheung walked me through everything, and her care was so thorough. Rocky healed up well.Rosko has arthritis, and we started acupuncture treatments with Dr. Cheung. The difference has been unbelievable. He’s got this spark back—he actually wants to play again and will pick up his toy and bring it over for me to throw. He hadn’t done that in a long time.I recommend Dr. Cheung and her wonderful team without any reservations. Thank you for getting Rosko excited and able to play again!
April 20 · Fiorella CardenasWhile not all places exams guinea pig, City Animal Veterinary does and I was so happy with the process. The place is clean and welcoming. This is my guinea pig's first visit to the vet and I was super anxious. However, Dr. Cheung is confident, friendly and knowledgeable. She also gave many great advice to this new guinea pig owner. My guinea pig was a bit fussy, but everyone there were top notch. One of the staff even showed me the proper technique to clip his nails.Making an appointment over the phone was also simple as a new patient. The clinic is opened 7 days a week! The F and G trains are close-by. We got lucky and found street parking after circling around twice.
April 27 · Shirley HI am over the moon to have found Dr. Cheung as the vet for our spicy and anxious cat. We came to City Animal Veterinary Center after being told that our kitty was too anxious for a house visit and that she would be a good candidate for a sedated check-up. We had a lot of hesitations about this, but wanted the best for our kitty. After days of research, I stumbled upon City Animal Veterinary Center’s website and immediately appreciated their Fear Free approach. We took our kitty in and loved that Dr. Cheung suggested to test the waters, and see if our cat would accept to be examined fully awake. Not only did Dr. Cheung manage to draw bloodwork and administer vaccines, but she also trimmed her claws without need for sedation! This is by far the best vet experience that our fur baby has had.Dr. Cheung and her team are incredibly kind and professional. I received a call from City Animal Veterinary Center the next day; they wanted to know how our cat was doing. Dr. Cheung called afterwards to discuss all the results. We are grateful for Dr. Cheung and her team. Highly recommend City Animal Veterinary Center!
August 15 · Pilar LagosVery happy with their services. The veterinarian really knew how to handle my frisky cat for vaccinations and check up. She managed it with treats and a special blanket, no need for gas and other invasive methods recommended by other centers. She has a good hand for treating animals. Coming back next year.
July 15 · Sonia AlioI came to City Vet at the last minute because my regular vet was closed for the weekend, even though I had just visited them two days earlier. My cat was not doing well, and her condition was rapidly worsening. Dr. Cheung and her team were incredibly kind, professional, and responsive to my concerns after the visit. Her recommendations and treatment saved my beloved kitty’s life- I am forever grateful 🩷 not to mention, they’re more affordable than my previous vet.. highly recommended!
