City of Angels Veterinary Specialty Center Introduce
For pet owners in the vast and vibrant Los Angeles region, the need for advanced, compassionate veterinary care is an essential part of responsible pet ownership. While a regular neighborhood vet is perfect for routine check-ups and preventative care, there are times when a pet's health crisis requires a higher level of expertise and specialized equipment. This is precisely the role of the City of Angels Veterinary Specialty Center. This facility is not a standard vet clinic; it is a premier emergency and specialty animal hospital designed to handle critical and complex cases. Located in Culver City, it serves as a beacon of hope for pet parents facing a medical emergency or a serious, ongoing health condition in their beloved animals. The center is known for its ability to provide around-the-clock care, ensuring that pets have access to life-saving services whenever they need them, day or night. It brings together a team of specialists under one roof to offer the most efficient and effective medical care possible, a unique and invaluable resource in Southern California. The facility is equipped to handle everything from sudden traumas to chronic illnesses, providing peace of mind to a community that considers their pets to be family members.
The highly specialized nature of this veterinary center means they are equipped to offer care that goes beyond the scope of a typical general practice. They are a dedicated hub for advanced medical services, with departments that specialize in various fields of veterinary medicine, much like a hospital for humans. This level of specialization allows them to tackle challenging and complex medical issues with confidence and expertise. From a dog that has a sudden seizure to a cat with a chronic eye condition, the staff is prepared to handle a wide spectrum of health challenges. The glowing testimonials from pet owners who have faced incredibly difficult situations, like the one whose dog was in critical condition, underscore the compassionate and professional care provided. These personal accounts, while emotional, highlight the dedication of the staff, their clear communication, and their ability to provide both medical support for the pet and emotional support for the pet parent during a stressful time.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1As long as I live in this area, I’ll never go to another vet. This morning, My dog had 4 seizures at home. I called on the way. They put me on triage board immediately. My dog somewhat recovered upon arrival and I was able to walk him in, but I know they would have come out and got him if I called. When I came inside, they recognized his slight pant that was not normal, rushed him back and found him to be in vtach. They asked if I wanted CPR, which I did not because of his age and heart condition. The vet pretty quickly came to see me in the room to get more info and talk about what I wanted to do. By then, they had at least given him lidocaine for his arrhythmia. The tech thought he might pass as his BP was so low, so they rushed me back to be with him. He ended up being okay at that point and we had some time for me to bring him in the private room and spend alone time. They gave me water, tissues, and a bell for when I was ready. I wasn’t ready but he unfortunately went into vtach again and started seizing. When I called the bell, the vet came immediately and started the sedative to relax him. I did have to put him to sleep, as we didn’t believe his condition was reversible. However, these employees showed they really cared for me and for Neville. They were upfront about costs. They asked my permission for everything. Even when I couldn’t make a decision, they went ahead and got him out of the critical condition right away so he could stop suffering…to give me some time to talk and think. The staff was just amazing. I’ve never felt so supported and cared for in a veterinary office. I can’t remember the veterinarians name right now because I was too upset, but she was just so so great. Props to these people for giving their hearts to both pets and pet parents.
November 29 · S BCDO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE. These people are scam artists who prey on people trying to save their pets. They charged my mom $2000 to examine her cat that was hit a car only to tell her that there’s nothing they can do. Then charged her $300 because she did not want the ashes. I could sue these scumbags. Rest in peace Sparky.
May 01 · Sebastian AnzuresI will always be grateful for this animal hospital they saved 2 of my dogs. One of my dogs was hit by a car they took her in right away and literally brought her back to life. When I brought my second dog he is was puppy I had just bought from the previous owner I did not know he was sick the next day he passed out we rushed him to this hospital and they were able to revive him. I did not think my dogs were going to make it but the staff here were able to work miracles.
July 19 · Alie IvieAre Cat Almost Died because of this place. They Charged us $600 Dollars and did zero help for our cat. Zero Blood Work Nothing... Even though it was needed badly. Drs don't care and are completely unqualified to be Vets. They even forgot the Pet Cone 3 times. We had to ask for it 3 times. Even Though we paid for it.
August 29 · King FelixGot turned away earlier today because they were short staffed and were only taking "stat" emergencies, and internal bleeding was apparently not serious. Wound up going to Access instead, who were cheaper, faster, and better care. We were seen there in under 30 minutes, whereas I've never had a pet get seen in under 5 hours at City of Angels. We have used City of Angels for 5 other visits over the last 5 years for our 2 cats and dogs, and they have always felt predatory, but today, having a receptionist diagnose our dog - we didn't get triaged - was the last straw.Go anywhere else, these folks suck.
