★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I loved the staff here. I brought in a scared, feral kitten, and they were able to treat her without any problems. The staff was so caring with my kitty. I greatly appreciated this. I will be back... Came back with cat #2 to be spayed, also had a nice experience with the staff and vet. Expensive but I am not sure what other places charge.
March 14 · Christine GThis dude is horrible and a joke! He’s so rough with my baby kittens (has been with every one I’ve ever brought there), literally shoved his NON lubricated THUMB in my 3 week old kitten to push a hemorrhoid back in (worst thing u can do), that was the worst scream ive ever heard from an animal!, i brought newborn kittens to him a few days ago n he cut them apart, severing one of their legs then charged me to put it to sleep, he cut one of the umbilical cords so close to the body that the insides came out n it bled to death later that night and cut another one’s toes off! he’s just awful! His staff r great but he sucks
August 29 · Dawn KozuchThey should be ashamed of themselves for calling this a veterinary hospital and having a so called option for emergencies. If you are reading this you most likely have a pet. I did too but unfortunately my Whittleman started with seizures at 1am. At 8am I called my vet but they were closed and unfortunately no emergency option. In a panic trying to find a Dr to help my cat I had to start calling other vets. Well I called here first. HUGE MISTAKE! The most rude, uncaring person I have ever spoken to. We are elderly on a fixed low income. I needed to borrow from a friend or family to help Whittleman go to Heaven. Asking this extremely rude person different options hoping I would not have to borrow the money like, can I post date a check? No, they don't take checks. Can I pay when we get paid next month? No, we don't do that. So in desperation I am thinking out loud while watching my poor fur baby who is suffering about who and how I can borrow the money. I was told it would be $224.00. I said I can ask my brother in Philly and ask to use his credit card and when we get there....she never let me finish my sentence which was I can call him and he can give her his card info. She starts raising her voice. WE'RE NOT CALLING ANYBODY! WE'RE NOT DOING THIS! WE ARE NOT DOING THIS and she hung up on me. If that isn't a sign that this hospital has absolutely no compassion for a suffering animal??? With that said we found White Haven Veterinary Hospital. The most caring and compassionate team that is astounding. They took me right in as soon as we got there. In an hours time from initial phone call to Whittleman crossing over the rainbow bridge was one hour including travel. They even have a comfort room where you sit with your fur baby thru the process. If you need a veterinary hospital that actually cares call White Haven and not the place that only cares about how quick they can get your money in their hands. They should be ashamed of themselves! Boo to Hazleton Veterinary Hospital and Kudos to White Haven Veterinary Hospital. Photos are White Haven Veterinary Hospital and of course my Whittleman.

June 04 · Vincent WagnerI am so disappointed with this place. My cat became very sick today and I called to bring him up to be put down. They are my normal vet. They told me I could bring him up. I told them that I needed to wait for my husband to get home to help me. They told me to get there when I could. That call occurred at 1251 pm. My husband got home as quick as he could and we left the house at 130 and were 3 minutes away at 145 when I got a call asking if I was coming. I told them I would be there in 2 minutes. They said well vet was leaving and now I would have to cone back at 3. Meanwhile my port boy was screaming he was so stressed out. After hearing what I went through my absolutely wonderful equine vet was willing to come to the house so I didn’t have to take him anywhere. The staff has always been so nice but clearly the vet could care less about his patients!
