★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Dr. Hamilton & all the receptionists/techs are so great. Dr. Hamilton is one of the best vets I have ever met; kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and most importantly, empathetic. I love Horsham Vet & I trust them with my 5 fur babies. Couldn’t recommend a better place to take your fur babies.
May 01 · Carly FosterI have an EXTREMELY anxious small dog that is probably a very unpleasant patient to have. She doesn’t make any part of the exam, vaccines or blood draws easy but Dr. Balandovich and her tech Holly and the whole staff were BEYOND accommodating. I cannot say enough positive things about how much they did to help calm my dog and make sure they were able to give her the best care even with her difficult behavior. The staff is truly dedicated to what they do and it is so appreciated as a pet owner to have a vet team that cares so much. Thank you!
May 08 · Megan RiveraBest vet in the area. Nurses and doctors are amazing. You can tell they honestly care about the animals and they try their best to make them feel comfortable. Thank you!
January 21 · Anthony SToday we had our Lagotto and Cavalier groomed by Maddie. She did a fantastic job (and it wasn't easy - my pups were very much past due) and both dogs came out happy, looking and smelling fantastic. She did a really nice and thorough job. The drop off and pick up times are really convenient and I love the consistency of having my pet's healhcare and grooming all in one place. The grooming prices are very reasonable as well.
March 24 · Dolores Pekar-ForgetDr. Tranchida who put my very sick FIV+ cat down last Friday, April 4th was very caring and compassionate.Dr. Wray was very good until my cat had very dire blood work on March 25 and April 2, 2025. He gave me false hope. I asked himif I should put my cat down. He said he did not believe my cat was at that point in time.My cat had time and options in his opinion. My cat got a 2 week supply in late March of a steroid and an antibiotic. After the 2 week regimen of antibiotic and steroid, Dr. Wray wanted my cat to go on a lower dose steroid for 2 weeks and then blood work again before the 14th day. Obviously, my cat did not live long enough to proceed with another steroid. His blood work on April 2 was much worse than his blood work on March 25. I called Dr. Wray on Thursday, April 3 and told him my cat was not eating and definitely not well. His response was see what tomorrow, Friday brings and cats are resilient. Telling me that cats are resilient was flippant and insensitive since my FIV+ cat was obviously deteriorating and thus not resilient. That Thursday night my cat vomited. On Friday, April 4, my cat refused to eat, did not want to be around me, went to the litter box several times and meowed as if in pain. My cat ended up passing black stools. I called the practice Friday morning and left a message for Dr. Wray to call me asap. He was due in at noon. He never called. I called the practice back around 12:30 and spoke with Jen. I told her I needed to have my cat put down as soon as possible with any veterinarian. I saw Dr. Tranchida for a 2:30 appointment. Dr. Wray failed my cat, Benson and myself. He sugarcoated the seriousness of the blood work results. As a lay person, I couldtell that Benson was in serious decline by hearing the results from Dr. Wray and viewing the results myself. His WBC counts were dangerously low and not even close to being in the normal range. My cat ended up suffering and dying in front of me. Dr. Wray should have told me that the blood work results were very dire and that he was not sure how much longer Benson could live;that I should enjoy the remaining time with him. I had spent a lot of money at HVH.I can not fathom why Dr. Wray would want to try different options with Benson when the blood work along with Benson's behavior were grim. I can only assume that Dr. Wray was attempting to get more money out of me. I believe that my cat, Benson, had cancer that ravished his body very quickly.Dr. Wray should have been brutally honest with me which he was not. Seeing my cat suffering and dying was a horrific vision that I can not undo. No one should have to witness their beloved pet suffering and dying.
