★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I cannot say enough great things about InstaVet Urgent Care. My experience with them was nothing short of amazing. I brought my dog Prince in during an urgent situation, and they were able to see him immediately, without hesitation or long wait times. As a pet parent, that kind of fast response brings so much relief. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly kind, professional, and understanding. They treated Prince like family, not just another patient. The way they handled him—with such gentle care—really stood out to me and showed me that they genuinely care about the animals they treat. One of the biggest stressors when dealing with pet emergencies is the cost, and I was honestly nervous about how I’d be able to cover it. But InstaVet completely eased those worries. They offered a payment plan, which made the entire situation manageable. It’s so rare to find an urgent care facility that’s both top-quality and compassionate when it comes to finances. I walked out not only with peace of mind but also with the medicine Prince needed, and a clear understanding of how to care for him going forward. What I also appreciated was how clear and communicative the staff was. They explained everything—from Prince’s condition to the treatment options—in a way that I could fully understand. There was no confusion, no pressure, just clear, supportive guidance the whole time.InstaVet truly made a difference in what could’ve been a really traumatic day. Their service, professionalism, compassion, and overall care were exceptional. I felt heard, respected, and supported, and more importantly, Prince was taken care of with love and expertise. To anyone facing a pet emergency: this is the place to go. They care, they help, and they make sure both you and your pet are okay every step of the way. I’m beyond grateful to them, and I will absolutely return to InstaVet for any future emergencies or urgent needs. Thank you for everything!
July 02 · LLI highly recommend instavet! Everyone from their front desk staff, vet tech Julian and Dr. Chow were friendly, forthright and professional and really care about your pet!I have two cats named Koffee (7 years old) and Donut (10 years old) who are healthy but haven’t gone to a vet in seven years! As they are getting up in age I wanted to be proactive and give them both a wellness check and my senior cat a full senior screening and bloodwork. I had a wonderful experience as they were able to accommodate both my pets at the same time; there was no waiting around, and the facilities were comfortable, modern and clean! They have an awesome promotion right now for a complimentary wellness exam for one pet on weekdays between 12:00pm-3:00pm and I took advantage of that and I’m so grateful they didn’t upsell me on a lot of extra services, procedures or products but gave me good recommendations.I just switched over my vet to instavet and I look forward to bringing my cat babies there for years to come! Thanks so much instavet!
August 25 · Joy ChenI’d rate this practice a 4.5*. I have two senior dogs and two young cats and sometimes I’m at the vet 2x in the same week with multiple issues. The customer service is great, the manager Eli personally reaches out often to make sure we are all well care for, reception girls are lovely, nurses the same. I now met a lot of the vets, all of them with one exception were caring and outstanding. During my first well being visit, I got a multiple pet discount which was nice. Also a free X-ray for my dog with heart disease. My fur babies are everything to me so I expect nothing short of perfect care for them, I’m crazy demanding and I have been happy with this clinic since moving to the area. Again the 0.5 point shortage in the rating is for my one off bad experience with one vet (which I can easily avoid) and sometimes a major delay/ waiting time when my schedule is super tight. Still I know I’ll stick to this practice as I can always get an appointment and the care meets my expectations. Some of the vets are truly outstanding (sorry I’m bad with names, wish I could quote them). Confident in recommending them even if I find it pricey, I think I get what they charge for.
October 31 · Koo ChoA Deep Betrayal of Trust and Professional EthicsI have been bringing my dog, to this clinic since 2022 and had always trusted them with her care—until now. What happened during her recent dental procedure at Instavet Urgent Care & Wellness Center was not only shocking but deeply disturbing.I initially consented to the possible extraction of a molar, as clearly stated in their own medical records. Instead, without any prior discussion or clear consent, they extracted one of her front teeth—a tooth that had never been flagged as problematic, and one we had never discussed.Even more troubling, no one at the clinic informed me that the front tooth had been removed. Not during the procedure, not when I came to pick her up, and not in any written or verbal post-op communication. I only discovered the extraction myself, by looking inside my dog’s mouth at home. The molar we originally discussed? Still there—and I have yet to receive any explanation as to the condition it allegedly presented prior to the surgery.Prior to the procedure, I had explicitly indicated on the consent form that I wanted to be contacted if extraction became necessary. I received a call during the procedure stating that “the tooth” needed to be removed. Given our prior conversations, I reasonably assumed they meant the molar. I gave verbal consent based on that assumption. At no point was it specified that they were referring to a completely different tooth in a completely different area. When I returned to the clinic seeking answers, I received the X-rays only because I formally requested them. No one ever showed or explained where this supposed fracture was, nor did anyone justify the decision to remove a healthy-looking front tooth. During my visit, the veterinarian left the room mid-conversation and never returned. I was then told by a care manager unfamiliar with my case that I had made the doctor “uncomfortable” and was asked to leave the clinic.I paid over $2,100 for a procedure I did not authorize, based on incomplete and misleading information. The absence of transparency, informed consent, and professional accountability is deeply alarming. This is not just poor communication—it’s a fundamental breach of trust and ethical veterinary care. Pet owners deserve honesty, clarity, and respect. Be extremely cautious.Update: I have been told, after being asked to leave the premises and sending a formal email asking for an explanation, to book an appointment with the doctor if I wished further explanation. Insane.
August 07 · Michael BokobzaOne of my dogs had need of an urgent care visit for an ear injury and my regular vet didn’t have any availability. InstaVet was a seamless experience, from making the same-day appointment online to payment over the phone. Dr. Ghangsan Kim was great. Joey loved him. He took good care of her while explaining everything well. Follow up consult was included which I find really refreshing, especially bc the consult itself is not covered by our pet insurance (even when it is an er consult).
