★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My Old English Sheepdog, Martha, had spent years licking her private parts. I had taken her to see several vets and they were stumped. They suggested I use wipes after she urinated, gave her some antibiotics, etc. I finally took her to SVSS when her private area looked really bad! They immediately said she had a "hooded vulva" which was causing constant irritation and infections. She had surgery to fix the condition a couple weeks later and now, 2 months out, she is cured! Sure, she still licks some, but not the manic licking that she was doing before. They took great care of Martha!
August 21 · Laurel ToddWhat an amazing experience. Some of the most professional staff I have encountered in any office, let alone a surgery center for pets. From the moment I stepped into the facility (wrong door I might add) I was taken care of professionally, with great care, and courtesy. My frenchie was seen promptly at her appointment time, treatments and alternative options were discussed before finally settling on surgery as the right path forward. We discussed all outcomes, all financial questions, and timelines. Nothing was left out, no question went unanswered, and no "oops, forgot to include that or tell you" moments. Everything was up front, honest, respectful, and with my girl's care and long term health in mind. From then on, the staff handled things incredibly well and with an unbelievable level of organization. I was nervous about the procedure, but was quickly put at ease with regular updates and text messages about progress. The amazing doctor (Jessica Sullivan) is a master at her craft. The x-rays pre and post surgery were night and day by comparison, sutures were perfect and tight, and even the knee area wasn't swelling much at all. I cannot say enough great things about the people here. It is hard to find somewhere that takes as much love and attention that I pay my dog. They care, really honestly care...and it shows! We have a long ways to go, and eventually another surgery for my girl, but I know EXACTLY where I will be taking her.
July 08 · Ryan CanneyMy dog had a cancer on his leg that needed to be removed. I was able to get in for an appointment in a reasonable timeframe, and all of my experiences with the staff and doctors were positive. We never had to wait very long in the lobby. The surgeon was kind, informative, and patient. She answered all of my questions without rushing me. Also, the surgical team was available through the on-call number or email for a few post-op questions about his incision. I also felt I was given reasonable medical advice about the treatment plan. I didn't feel they were trying to sell me anything we didn't need. They advised what was truly best for my dog medically. I would definitely go back if he had any further surgical needs.
August 24 · Rachael BRansom owes his life to the amazing veterinarians and the incredible staff Ransom had been mauled in his own backyard and the situation was grim. But the Amazing Staff didn’t give up and they worked tirelessly to save my Ransom. And you can see he’s still hogging the bed. Thank you for saving my pound puppy.
March 03 · Barbara WoodwardEveryone was so helpful throughout my dog’s entire surgery and recovery. The night of the surgery my dog had to stay over and the tech called and sent pictures of him. It was such a relief to “see” him until I could pick him up the next morning!
