July 09 · sukfung2010If I can add more stars to this place, I would. The difference between this place and Integrative Verterinary Oncology, PC. You can feel the love and care from the entire staff when you walk into AZ Vet Oncology, unlike when I we walked into the other place, it felt like dooms day. We drove from Surprise, AZ to get to AZ Vet Oncology and it was all worth it. They are not just about the money; they are about your fur babies. Our Kaya and her parents thank you all.
June 17 · Nancy DiazDuring one of the most challenging times of my life, Dr. Lynda Beaver and Arizona Veterinary Oncology became a beacon of hope and compassion. When I brought my beloved four-legged companion with a large tumor to their care, I was skeptical that anything could be done. However, Dr. Beaver and the team at Arizona Veterinary Oncology proved me wrong and exceeded all expectations. They developed a tailor-made chemotherapy treatment for my dog that worked wonders, miraculously shrinking the tumor to nearly nothing. This gift of five additional months with my furry friend is something I will forever hold close to my heart. The dedication and genuine care they showed towards my dog were truly heartwarming. Every visit was an experience of patience, understanding, and sincere concern for both my pet and me.What touched me deeply was the range of options they provided for my pet's care. They never rushed me, always taking the time to explain each option and its potential outcomes. Even more remarkable was their honesty and integrity. When the time came that the chemo was no longer effective, they didn't push for more expensive treatments, reaffirming my belief that they cared about my dog's well-being above all else.In a world where genuine empathy can sometimes be scarce, Dr. Beaver and Arizona Veterinary Oncology shines as a prime example of what it means to truly care for animals and their owners. My dog may have passed on, but the memories and the extended time they gave us will forever be cherished. My heartfelt gratitude goes out to the entire team for their exceptional care, kindness, and unwavering commitment to the well-being of my precious companion.
August 19 · Eric MenascoMy cat just had the radioactive iodine I-131 treatment. The vet and tech (Jorae) were excellent. Very compassionate with my cat and very communicative with me. I have only good things to say about the treatment process itself. But I gave 4 stars instead of 5 to account for the negative experience I had scheduling the treatment. I paid the deposit and got confirmation paperwork, and called a few weeks before our appt with some questions. I was told at that time that we were not on the schedule that month. I had already started transitioning my cat to a wet food diet for her stay there (she normally eats raw food and whole prey) and made the appt with my vet for all the bloodwork and urinalysis they require, which were were about to get. I hadn't reordered her thyroid meds because I thought we would be stopping them for good. I had to reschedule everything, and get a new Rx for her thyroid meds. And then wait an extra month. All because they made an administrative error. I was just emailing with a friend who had an appt in April and she just called and found out their appt was not on the books, either. And being told she has to wait 3 months to schedule because they are booked up. It's HIGHLY inconvenient to find out almost last minute your appointment doesn't exist when you've made other plans around the appt. This seems to be a thing with this office. So I do recommend them for the treatment, but you should definitely follow up within a week after making your appt to confirm you are in their schedule -- even if they sent a confirmation and took your money!
March 17 · Planet ThriveWe are so grateful for Dr. Boshoven, his lovely wife, and their entire staff for saving our baby girl, Mia Hambone! Steriotactic radiation after surgical resection of a small soft tissue sarcoma was all she needed! It's been over 2 years now and she is going strong! Dr. Boshoven was kind enough to call us when we had a question recently and we really appreciate the attentiveness. Thank you!
