★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Please read other reviews and avoid this place at all costs--especially if you need USDA paperwork. Before coming, I called and was told the doctor was USDA accredited. When I arrived, I even asked the front desk again, and she confirmed, "Yes, the doctor is accredited." So I trusted them. After my dogs received their vaccines around 5:30 p.m., I mentioned we might be traveling internationally and would need a health certificate and rabies certificate signed by a USDA-accredited vet. That's when the front desk suddenly admitted the doctor is only accredited by California--not USDA. She repeated this several times and told me I'd have to go elsewhere. In short, I was misled. Save yourself the hassle and go to a clinic that actually has a USDA-accredited vet. To make matters worse, the front desk (who claims she's worked there for 30 years) told me to "ask the consulate" because the doctor doesn't know about travel requirements. Completely unprofessional--rude, dismissive, and not helpful at all.And if the doctor is reading this: check your cameras and listen to what your staff is telling clients. I'm not making this up. Even after I wrote this review, the front desk still confirmed the doctor is only California-accredited, not USDA. So either the doctor is lying--or this whole place is a scam.P.S. why should I have to call your employee when they are the ones who gave me false information, wasted my time, and cost me money? Also, your response said this hospital has only been open for 12 years--yet your staff claimed they've been doing health certificates there for "over 27 years." That's another clear red flag.
August 26 · Max T TranSo far my little lucky has had a pretty good experience here over the last couple years. She's received routine vaccinations, spay, nail trims, anal glands, and now being treated for UTI. The staff is always so kind and doctor seems very genuine, professional and reassuring. I hope we continue to have a great experience along the way💖Lucky got a new dress and treats for being a good girl at her last appointment
March 12 · Crystal OronaI called ahead and asked if they accepted walk-in vaccines, and they said yes. I arrived at 9:30 a.m. and was told I wouldn’t be checked in until 10:45. I said it was fine and waited. After nearly 30 minutes, another staff member came out and told me I had to come back at 5pm because they were fully booked for the morning. This was extremely unprofessional—I will never return.
August 26 · Eric NThis place is a total scam. We asked many times if their vets are usda accredited because they need to sign off on the rabies certificate for us for international travel. They said yes but after the shots they ignore our questions and give us a bill for $80. Their vet is California accredited but not usda accredited. Lies after lies. Would not recommended.
August 25 · H.T TranI used to consider Stanton Pet Hospital one of the most affordable vet options in Orange County, but my recent experience has been deeply disappointing. They quoted me $1,000 to clean an infection in my cat’s paw, despite me clearly stating my budget was $500. After some back-and-forth, they lowered the price to $455, which raised red flags about their pricing transparency. When I picked up my cat, they tried to upsell additional services and made the experience uncomfortable. After speaking with other vets, I learned the procedure could have been done for significantly less. Additionally, while they claimed my cat needed to be fully sedated, a nurse later mentioned they used a lighter sedation, contradicting their initial justification for the high cost. This lack of consistency and apparent price gouging has eroded my trust.I strongly recommend avoiding Stanton Pet Hospital. They are no longer the reliable, affordable option they once were. I will not be leaving positive feedback on their Google reviews and feel compelled to share this honest experience to warn other pet owners.
