★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Awful experience on the phone. I called here for some advice as my regular vet was closed, I don't know which doctor I spoke with (Australian accent or similar) but all she did was interrupt me and talk over me and had the audacity to tell me "I'M SPEAKING, we speak nicely to people", how ironic. I didn't feel like my concerns were heard at all and I was quite upset after that call. You would think people working with animals would have a little more empathy and patience. Do better.
September 07 · Aria DOur family has been going to VCA Brookline for 5 years now. Dr. Feldman is amazing. The location is convenient and always sparkling clean when we walk in. Our dog will be 13 years old next month. Thank you.
May 28 · Sasha SI came here because I was flying with my cat. I just wanted to make sure I could have documentation of a recent vet visit in case airline asks (has never happened but I fly with one just in case). I had a free wellness exam coupon so I went here. Right away I felt unwelcome by one of the desk staff. She seem annoyed with me that I had not filled out paperwork sent to me via email. I was unable to print them out or fill them out online. It shouldn’t have been a giving deal for me to fill them out in the office, yet she acted like I ruined her day. They tried to convince me that I needed a $95 health certificate to fly with my cat as a carry on a domestic flight. This is only necessary for if your pet is being checked or in cargo. I’m glad I double checked on this before feeling pressured into buying that. Luckily, the vet tech was up front about costs at the beginning and I was able to not be trapped into it without knowing the cost. Veg tech and vet were fine and friendly. However, I asked for them to trim my cats back leg claws(I could do them myself but it’s just harder). Vet tech said nothing about it being an added charge. They charged me $40 for just that. Which is ridiculous. I have never been to a vet that charged for trimming nails (especially since many of them want to deter owners from declawing, so they offer it on a courtesy basis even without an appointment). Either way, if she had been upfront about the costs, I would have said no. Thankfully they gave me a “discount” and I only had to pay $20. Which is still ridiculous. I will not be returning and will not be recommending to other owners. I want you to care for my pet, not take advantage of me and my money. Now I know why there was a coupon.
June 28 · Margaret Sue RafidiThey always take great care of our senior dog Gina at VCA, the whole staff is wonderful and Dr Mani (our primary vet) is excellent! Their current location is very spacious and nice with a comfortable waiting area, has parking and is green line accessible.
July 11 · Netanya ShiraMy cats have been seeing Dr. Feldman for over 10 years now, started when I was local and I now drive 45 minutes to keep seeing her. The techs and Dr. Feldman are all so caring and sweet. The new office is a great upgrade as well, with a parking lot and a lot of seating.
