★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I am incredibly grateful to the team at Veterinary Emergency Group for the outstanding care they gave my dog Poseidon after he needed emergency surgery to remove a corn cob from his small intestine. From intake nurses John and Rob, to Dr. Lynch who quickly diagnosed the issue, to Dr. Winter who performed the surgery with nurses Jenn and Mel — everyone was professional, kind, and reassuring. Dr. Fedele provided excellent overnight care post-surgery and kept me updated every step of the way. Thanks to this amazing team, Poseidon is home and recovering well. Highly recommend VEG for anyone needing emergency vet care!
August 04 · Kayla RI could actually cry writing this. The front desk admin team, to the techs, to the nurses, to the doctors. Every person at VEG Clifton deserves praise. Not only did they save our cat's life and keep us informed, comfortable and encouraged for 3 days, but they did all of their work with love. I was only there for a total of maybe 18 hours and I saw some of the most heartbreaking moments of my life. The team, somehow, kept going and stayed compassionate. Thank you to Dr. Kim, Dr. Winter, Dr. Desai, Charlie, Liz, Angie, Rob, and all of the other people we interacted with. I'm so grateful people like you decided to dedicate your lives to saving animals. You also save people. Watching you all navigate tough decisions and love people and their animals on a very hard day was so inspiring. I don't ever want to have to come back, but if I have to, at least I know we're in capable hands. THANK YOU!
July 22 · Summer GillenEveryone at this location from reception, the vet techs and veterinary staff is so kind, calm and caring. Our sweet Willow was attacked by an unleashed dog and we were scared out of our minds. The staff treated us with such patience and kindness and answered our million questions with ease. I called in advance to let them know his injuries and they waited for us at the door with a kind smile. They cleaned up his wounds and gave him appropriate care without making us wait too long. I would recommend them to anyone needing emergency care for their pet.
August 05 · sahra reyesWe've brought several of our foster cats here for treatment, including most recently our beloved three-legged boy, Hopper. The team acted quickly to create a treatment plan and has supported us through every concern and unexpected challenge along the way. We are beyond grateful for their compassion, dedication, and continued care. The staff consistently goes above and beyond, making even the most difficult situations feel manageable. Thank you to everyone at VEG for being there for us and our animals. Your kindness means the world to us!
May 06 · Jasmine MhrezOur cat was throwing up about 10 + times throughout the day. We decided to take her here and it was the most pleasant experience. We checked in very easily and got her looked at immediately. The staff were so sweet with our baby and made sure that she felt safe and as comfortable as possible. They were very clear about the plan for her care and sent us an estime of the treatment and price before doing anything. It was pricey but that is to be expected for a pet emergency. We decided to go with all the treatment and tests that they wanted to do which was around $1,500, because we had the means to do so. They were very clear to us and the people around us that they would absolutely work with budgets and see what they could do. In the end she was alright. She was treated with an anti nausea shot, given some fluids, and we were sent home with some food to give her after fasting for the night. They gave her an xray to make sure there was no internal reason this was happening. She is doing must better and this trip gave us some great tips on things to alleviate her pain and put our minds at ease.About 2 days later we also got a follow up text message from them seeing if she was doing better and a reminder they were available to help if anything came up.
