What is Worth Choosing
Choosing a large retailer like Petco, particularly the Lancaster branch, offers Pennsylvania pet owners a few distinct advantages. The store’s major benefit lies in its sheer breadth of inventory and range of integrated services. You can purchase specialized food and bedding, attend a training class, schedule a grooming appointment, and access wellness checks all in one location. This convenience is a significant time-saver for busy families.
However, it is vital for customers to approach specialized services, such as grooming, with care. While the store offers these options, customer feedback suggests that the quality of service can depend heavily on the individual staff member or manager on duty, with some reviews pointing to concerns regarding professionalism and the execution of specific requests, such as haircuts. Pet parents should always communicate their expectations clearly and, if necessary, speak directly to the head manager, Ray, about any issues, as mentioned in customer feedback.
Ultimately, this Petco location is worth choosing for its extensive product line—especially for those with small animals, fish, or reptiles—and the convenience of its in-store pickup and delivery options. For services like grooming and veterinary care, customers are advised to thoroughly vet the individual professionals and confirm all details beforehand to ensure their pet receives the best possible care, aligning with the company's stated goal of supporting your pet's whole health journey in the heart of Pennsylvania.
By leveraging the store's multiple product categories and its various fulfillment methods, Lancaster residents can make their pet care routines efficient and well-supplied. This local Petco remains a central resource for pet needs in the area, offering both essential supplies and various professional services under one roof.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The girl manager with the glasses is so rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. I went to make a purchase and she said she couldn’t sell it to because it was expired and then we looked and all the items were expired and I said awww that’s such and inconvenience and she took it personal and began to try and argue with me in a rude manner. I told her it wasn’t anything against her and she proceeded to be rude to me and even called me “Dog” I’m a grown 37 year old woman and have never been disrespected like that be. I’m disappointed that this young lady still is working in a customer service management position. If you go to this store do not check out with her: I’m calling this afternoon to speak with Ray the head manager.
June 07 · Damaris DeeVery Disappointed with Grooming ServiceI took my puppy to the Petco at 2350 Lincoln Hwy E #600 in Lancaster for a bath, haircut, nail trim, and buff. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. We showed the groomer, Brinna, a clear photo of the cut we wanted, but she ignored our request and shaved our puppy way too close to the skin. When we picked him up, not only was the haircut completely wrong, but he still smelled bad and we were told his skin was irritated — something that wasn’t an issue when we dropped him off.To make matters worse, I called to speak with a manager and was told I would get a call back. That never happened. The lack of professionalism and care is unacceptable. We trusted them with our pet and were let down across the board. I won’t be returning and can’t recommend this location to anyone who truly cares about their pet’s well-being.
April 20 · Albert Morris4 ferrets in the habitat, and there was only 1 bowl of food available that had bedding paper mixed in. As you can see, one of the ferrets was sleeping with its head in the bowl while the other one was trying to eat. Please try to do better. They deserve fresh water and clean food. This is not the first time I have seen this.
April 22 · Y AGirl manager had attitude problem... don't know how to speak to customer. But head manager Ray was very professional.. she shouldn't be a manager at all.. not a people person..beware young girl manager with the glasses she's not nice at all.. but thank you Ray.. your cool
May 21 · Anthony ColonFriendly and fast service. Huge variety of dog food, treats and chew items. The dog toys are, like everywhere else, shockingly expensive. And they have a lot of those too. The store is easy to get from route 30, although traffic can sometimes be a challenge. Parking is plentiful.
