After giving my cat a vaccination, I left pet care and back to my car and I noticed smoke coming out of my car. When I opened the door, I saw flames under the seat. I rushed inside to tell the front desk. The lady at the front desk was very nice and gave me two cups of water. I successfully put out the fire. Fearing it would flare up again, I went back to ask for two more cups of water, but the lady at the front desk told me that Dr. Jonathan Biederman told her to not give water and I should call 911. Then Dr. Jonathan Biederman came out and said, "This is a veterinary clinic, not a fire station. We can't help you." I swear those were his exact words. I said, "I'm a client, not a stranger. I just want two cups of water. You talking like that makes me feel like I don't want to come back." He said he didn't care.I found his logic strange. If it was just his car, with just a little bit flames .wouldn't he do anything until the fire truck arrived? Thankfully, I later discovered the fire was caused by a lighter in the car. No one was injured, and my car only had minor damage.I believe we all need help. Be kind to others, and you'll receive help in return. Thanks again to the lady at the front desk. She's such a nice person. - Jerry Z
