The reviews for Sayrebrook Veterinary Hospital highlight both the strengths and a few areas for consideration, providing a balanced view of what to expect. A review from a cat owner praised the hospital's ability to provide same-day service for an urgent issue, noting that the staff was "so gentle with him" and took the time to "explain the ultrasound image and what was wrong with him." The customer was particularly relieved by the follow-up and the clear explanation of their cat's improvement, concluding that they would "definitely return." This testimonial underscores the hospital's compassionate care, diagnostic capabilities, and commitment to client education.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I went to Sayrebrook Veterinary Hospital through a program. The program is called The New Jersey Rabbit Society. In this program, you can get your pet rabbits neutered or spayed in an “affordable” price. I do want to note that it can get a bit pricey as added fees get included before AND after the visit. This includes the pet rabbit’s medication. Also, if it gets too busy. You might deal with a sassy receptionist…. That being said, thank you for treating my pet rabbit Jack with care. He’s a bit anxious from the visit, but doing fine. He really prefers to be at home. 3/5 stars, but 4 stars since it’s not an option :)
July 19 · Julian SteveSayrebrook Veterinary Hospital was by far the best vet experience I have had with my baby boy. I noticed he was urinating outside of his litter box with blood in his urine. I called them up and they were able to get me in same day. Dr. Birmingham was so kind and took her time explaining what was occurring. He was given medication and an ultrasound was done to see what was going on. The doctor and vet tech were so gentle with him and took the time to explain the ultrasound image and what was wrong with him. He was given a prescription diet to help dissolve the stones in his bladder and he recovered just in time to celebrate his 3rd birthday! During his follow up appointment Dr. Birmingham showed me the before and after images of his ultrasound and explained the improvement which was a huge relief. I would definitely return to the clinic with Dr. Birmingham specifically should my boy need future vet care.
April 11 · nahomi riosWe brought our Holland Lop here for his neuter and had a great experience from start to finish. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent customer service. We arrived at 8:30 for our 8:45 appointment and were promptly checked in. After a short wait, we were seen for a well visit, where the doctor was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain our rabbit’s health and the upcoming procedure. We left after the visit and received a call once the surgery was complete. Pick-up was at 1:30, and the staff member who checked us out also went over all the discharge instructions in detail. One tip: if you're planning a neuter, I recommend getting a certificate through the NJ House Rabbit Society—it helped us save money on the procedure.Overall, we had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend this clinic to other rabbit owners.
July 02 · Bernadette BennettI absolutely love this vets office. They always pick up quickly and when they don’t they get back to me quickly. I personally have rabbits and they are fantastic with them. They have always given me answers to whatever questions I have in a timely manner and even gave me all of the records for my buns when I said I was moving soon. When one of my buns crossed the rainbow bridge they sent me a letter showing their appreciation of him and their condolences. I truly love this vet and would recommend them to everyone. I have attached a photo of my most recent trip there with my bun Juniper.
April 15 · Jordyn StranahanDr Bill is Amazing! He takes his time with us always and answers all our questions. Dr Bill is super thorough and I would give him a 10/10 more if I could. We board Eli here and they are so good to him and we know he is getting the care he needs. Never worried when he is in their hands. When we had to put Rocco down last August I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with the staff and Dr Bill. Compassionate, honest and caring!
