★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1An employee at PetSmart referred me to camp to take our puppy for when he was ready to get neutered. I am so happy she did! I even referred my brother and his wife to take their puppy here. Besides the fact that they saved us so much moneyevery staff member I encountered was kind friendly and seemed to love animals. I felt like I left our dog in great hands highly recommend.
July 14 · Nina EidemI'm blown away by the excellent service we received at the San Pedro Animal Shelter! We took our dog in for neutering and microchipping, and not only was the staff friendly and attentive, but the prices were unbeatable. We were able to purchase 3 months' worth of Simparica heartworm meds for $22 each, which is a huge cost savings compared to our usual vet. The total cost for the procedure, meds, and microchip was $241, which is an amazing deal. The process was well-organized, and the staff answered all our questions and made us feel comfortable. Our dog recovered quickly and is healing well - we even got him a surgical suit instead of using the cone, which has worked great in keeping him from bothering his stitches and has been more comfortable for us all. Overall, we're extremely satisfied with the care our dog received, and we'd definitely recommend the San Pedro Animal Shelter to anyone looking for affordable and quality veterinary services. Five stars!
July 22 · Raecine BarraganI am very lucky to have found such an animal hospital. The price for neutering my puppy is $165 ,it is only 1/4 of what it costs in Irvine, and they also implanted a trackable microchip for just $26, which is the lowest price on the market. Owning a dog can be expensive, but with Camp, I have nothing to worry about.I like their mission !
October 04 · James GeAlways have amazing staff..super friendly. Super affordable. We have had TNR cats helped helped here.
March 05 · louie ricoI went to the San Pedro Animal Care Shelter to view a small dog for my friend. When I walked into the office, Ihave noticed that some dogs were staying in the office lobby. They were big dogs staying in the crates.I asked the staff why thosedogs were staying in the office. Then, I found out the shelter were overcrowded with so many dogs, and they didn't have enough space to put allthe dogs. After the Covid Pandemic, people were returning to work & due to the bad economic and high cost of living, people couldn't afford to keep their dogs anymore. Therefore, many people were surrendering their dog's to the shelter. When I heard that story, I felt so sad about those dogs.I couldn't understand how people could dump their dog's to the shelter.also, there were so many dogsstaying in the shelter for a long time. And they were waiting to get adopted it.It was so sad about the shelterdogs. Then, I went to the kennelto see the small dog, but the dog was on foster care, so I couldn't see the dog. After that, I looked around tosee other dogs, and I saw a cute husky was jumping andgreeted me with a big smile. That husky looked alike he wanted to get out from the kennel. He was so friendly andsweet dog.I wanted to adopt the husky, but I already owned a small dog, and I could have only one dog in my apartment. If you want to adopt the dog, Iwould recommend the CAMP Clinic San Pedro Animal Shelter..
