Veterinary Neurology Center Introduce
For pet owners in the California region, especially those facing the challenging reality of a dog or cat with a neurological disorder, the Veterinary Neurology Center in Tustin, CA, represents a critical resource. This is not a general practice veterinary office; it is a highly specialized hospital entirely dedicated to the complex and often urgent management of conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles of our beloved furry family members. It is recognized as the only Specialty Care hospital of its kind in Southern California focused exclusively on these complex neurological conditions.
The clinic is defined by its deep expertise and commitment to rapid, definitive diagnosis and treatment, which is essential when dealing with acute neurological crises like sudden paralysis or severe seizures. As evidenced by a client testimonial, the facility excels in efficiency and compassion, having swiftly "diagnosed the problem, and started treatment right away" for a pet with a sudden health issue, even for clients who had "drove in from Las Vegas." This ability to quickly integrate pets into their schedule demonstrates a dedication to patient care that is highly valued by pet owners across the state and beyond.
The team at the Veterinary Neurology Center is led by highly skilled professionals, including caring and helpful neurologists like Dr. Jensen, who specializes in these complex cases. The facility's ability to rush a dog that woke up "completely paralyzed" into life-changing surgery, resulting in the dog walking again just four days later, is a powerful testament to the level of expertise and state-of-the-art procedures performed here. This kind of rapid, effective intervention underscores why pet owners are willing to entrust their most challenging cases to this Specialty Care center.
Beyond acute surgical cases, the center offers comprehensive Medical Neurology for conditions such as chronic seizures, balance problems, weakness, and back or neck pain. The approach integrates advanced Diagnostic Testing—including access to sophisticated imaging and laboratory work—with comprehensive Disease Treatment plans. The holistic well-being of the patient is also considered, with Complementary Medicine options, such as Veterinary Acupuncture, available for supporting recovery and managing chronic pain. This multi-modal approach ensures the finest quality of specialty care for every pet.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We drove in from Las Vegas last week after our baby had a sudden health issue, and they got us in quickly, diagnosed the problem, and started treatment right away. They followed up to check in, which really showed how much they care. The clinic is clean, well-organized, and the front desk staff is friendly and efficient.Highly recommend this veterinary clinic to any pet owner who wants excellent care for their furry family member.Thank you Dr.Robles and Team 🙏
July 23 · M HIf I could give this place more stars, I would. My dog woke up one morning completely paralyzed. I took her in and asked if they could make room to see her that day, which they absolutely did! We saw Dr. Jensen, and she is absolutely the most caring and helpful neurologist! She was very comforting and made sure to answer all of my questions. Due to her condition, they rushed her into surgery. 4 days later my dog was walking again! I’m truly grateful to this Dr. and staff!
April 26 · Lyndsay HayesAwesome staff. I had Dr Emily Sun. She knew right away what was wrong with Waffles. He had seen two vets prior to this visit. They'd be my regular vet but they're a hr away (on a good day) from me. But if you're close to Irvine... make a appointment.
June 02 · Mr. KrinkleI cannot thank Dr. Philip for saving my baby boy Grant. The Veterinary Neurology Center is filled with top-notch staff who handle their clients with the utmost care, empathy, and professionalism. They were booked until December 26, but were actually able to squeeze me in last-minute for an MRI and an IVDD surgery. I am so grateful to the staff member who inquired after available doctors. Grant owes his life to this establishment!Dr. Philip, who examined and operated on Grant, is a consummate professional. I recommend him highly and feel confident that Grant will recover well. Dr. Philip's bedside manner is impeccable. He is friendly, warm, and compassionate as other reviews have mentioned here. He explained that the goal would be to get Grant up and walking again, and went into detail about all the aspects of potential treatments.Dr. Philip kept me updated as much as possible. He called me as soon as MRI imaging was done to go over the results: Grant had a ruptured disc in his C5/C6 vertebrate, which are near the top of the spine and support the head and neck. Dr. Philip called me right after completing the surgery to let me know that Grant woke up from anesthesia and was now resting comfortably. He even graciously accommodated my request for photo updates and emailed me to assure me that Grant would be in good hands.I am excited to be reunited with Grant and get him back on the road of recovery. Thank you again, Dr. Philip!
December 19 · Jay ZWe love our pets, and when your pet needs specialty care from MRI to surgery, you want the best possible care for them. Observing their staff and medical professionals, you know why they have an incredible reputation, because they are the best at what they do and they care about every animal as if it's their own. They gave my dog back the ability to walk and for that I'm forever grateful.
