★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️‼️ WARNING ⛔️ ‼️!!! This place is a total rip off.!!!They’ll over charge you on purpose because they know how desperate you are and play on that. ESP the bald guy. He literally forced the secretary to change the price for a solution that cost $10 on chewy, for the price of $65. Plus, solution was old and expired. He said it was fine as he over charged me on purpose forcing the secretary to change the price. She was so confused but did what she was told. I went to chewy after because I didn’t trust him and they only charged me $10, they delivered it fresh with ice packs and it wasn’t expired. It’s by far the worst experience I’ve ever had dealing with my suffering pet. I hate them for how they took advantage of us.Literally just spoke to another dog walker recently, and they said they got ripped off too. It’s so sad.Never pay for the medicine they suggest at that location. They’ll take advantage and triple charge you. Go to chewy and purchase it there. They’ll get the record from the vet of your pets health and approve ur medication, fresh and properly handled. This place will make you feel safe temporarily up until the bill comes. The bald guy is a total money shark and will totally up charge you esp if they notice your pet is about to die.I truly wouldn’t come back.ABC hospital on Ave A is wayyy better and reasonably priced with more attentive care and you get to sit in while the pet is being examined. Not taking ur pet to the back and forcing you to have anxiety while waiting like at this location. You’ve been warned. Precede with caution. ⚠️
September 13 · Lisa LopezWe visited Urban Vets for a second opinion on our cats’ dental cleaning after receiving a wild estimate from one of the corporate vet chains in the area, and had a fantastic experience! The vet and vet tech gave our little Danny the best care, charged a very reasonable (for NYC) price for his cleaning and 1 extraction, were clear about instructions for follow-up care, and called us afterwards to check in. We’re amazed at how chill our cat has been about the whole ordeal - a past dental cleaning had been really stressful for him, but this time with Urban Vets the experience and recovery have been extremely smooth. Will be using them as our primary vet from now on!!
March 21 · Erin NendzaQuality Veterinary Hospital!Personable, caring and reliable staff.Conveniently located next to the Tompkins Square Dog Run in the Lower East Village, Alphabet City of Manhattan. We highly recommend !!!!
January 19 · Pet ChauffeurI was given a kitten found in a parking garage. I am not a cat person, but my daughter fell in love with her. We didn't known anything about cats let alone kittens. Urban pets Animal Hospital staff was so informative and super sweet. I was told it was a girl and was 5 weeks old. They informed me about pet insurance and how to care for her. I am forever grateful to them and my new addition to the family.
September 14 · Allison RobinsonMy cat is dying and I am unemployed and cannot afford health insurance for my cat and for myself. They told me to simply eat my cat for dinner.*Edit - they also told me they care about a dying cat, but they don't have time today to see her and save her life.
