Vetco Vaccination Clinic Introduce
For New Yorkers seeking a convenient and cost-effective way to keep their pets' vaccinations up to date, the Vetco Vaccination Clinic at the Petco in Union Square offers a streamlined solution. Vetco specializes in providing essential preventative care, making it an accessible option for pet owners who need core vaccines, microchipping, and parasite prevention without the added expense of a full-service veterinary hospital exam fee. This model is designed to be efficient and affordable, focusing on the most critical preventative services to help keep your dog or cat healthy and safe. The clinic operates with the understanding that consistent preventative care is key to a pet's long-term well-being, and they aim to remove financial and logistical barriers to that care.
The clinic's approach is designed to be a stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. The staff is often praised for being patient, kind, and organized, helping to make the process of getting a pet vaccinated go as smoothly as possible. While the service is focused on a specific set of offerings, the veterinarians and their assistants are noted for being nice and gentle with the animals. For many, Vetco provides a practical alternative to a traditional, full-service vet for routine vaccinations. It's a place where you can get in, get the necessary shots, and get on with your day, all while ensuring your pet's health is protected. It is, however, important to distinguish this type of service from a comprehensive animal hospital, as Vetco clinics do not provide spay/neuter services, emergency care, or treatment for sick pets.

Vetco Vaccination Clinic Reviews
It was a stress free experience and we know getting vaccinations for your dog can be very stressful. The gentleman that always checks us in (his name in Jim) is always so patient and kind. He makes the appointment go smoothly. We have never had to wait a long time to see the doctor thanks to him being so organized. Also, the Vet and her assistant were very nice also.
August 26 · L PERALTAI’m disappointed with Vetco. I booked a vaccine appointment over the phone through the customer support. They said I’m all set for tomorrow. In an HOUR I’m getting a call from a different number that I COULDN’T pick up. I’m calling this number back in 2 MINUTES to ask what’s wrong. They tell me it was a call to confirm an appointment for tomorrow. (That I just booked an hour ago). And just because I simply didn’t answer to it they CANCELED IT IMMEDIATELY !!!!! I didn’t receive from them NOT a voicemail NOT a confirmation email NOT even a message asking to CONFIRM the appointment. The only thing I got is a message on my phone saying that my appointment has been scheduled. I RECEIVED A REQUEST TO CONFIRM THE APPOINTMENT 1 MINUTE AFTER I rescheduled everything all over again since they just canceled everything an hour after I booked it. I can’t imagine what could’ve happened if I arrived there tomorrow with my cat by subway to find out that it’s canceled and nobody is waiting for us. And it’s not the first time I have to deal with this nonsense: the previous time I was already going to the hospital and fully prepared with all the confirmations. They just CANCELLED my appointment 20 MINUTES before it. I have to urgently find another vetco clinic nearby to reschedule. I go there and they give me the price TWICE higher than they told me in the estimate since they don’t have a doctor to do the exam as in the discount package so all the coupons I had just burned down. Overall I spent EXTRA 2 HOURS just on the road for no reason. I’m willing to use the services of these scammers anymore.
February 25 · Yulia IvanovaNot sure why the reviews are so bad here but I had a perfectly fine experience getting my small dog vaccinated here. They were caring and helpful, and it was a quick process.
May 23 · Z MillerI can always rely on Vetco Vaccination Clinic for timely reminders of vaccinations & heart worm test due. Reasonable costs as well. My local veterinarian now insists on a $130 wellness visit cost whether due or not, plus the cost of the rabies vaccination. I declined and went to Vetco as I have done for over a decade. Also, our records are always updated & available on their website. Very handy when we were in Mexico & my dog needed an emergency surgery in Guadalajara.
